And I read an interview about what the song is actually about. It has nothing to do with the death of anyone close to the singer. He said it was about a hospital, with an older person dying, and a baby being born down the hallway. As if the soul left the body of the older person and administer the body of the newborn baby. He described it as "A circle of life".
