I love Switchfoot, it doesn't matter one bit to me that they are Christian. Religious music that has a true meaning to me shouldn't be disliked. Listen to the words and don't instantly hate it because they are a religious band. I am Pagan, and I will still continue to love this song. So there! . . . . . . . xp

We aren't moving in different directions. We're moving in the same direction away from God. This song is asking a Christian to show his faith and fight the flow of unbelief away from a loving God who asks so little of us.

This song is about rebirth, growing up, and it is especting us to live our life the way we want to.... There may be obsticals, but we have to move through them to get to the key of salvation... "Dare you to Move." It says it all in that simple, yet intriguing sentence. I sang this song to this person who i knew need guidance... My brother.... May he rest in peace... He didnt have to die a horrible death, but he needed most of all, was someone to point him the right way... I wished i had...
