I was there!!! Jeff's always amazing, just like he's old days, he's always better than he ever has.

Both Beck and E.C. are extraordinarily good in there own different style! Its not a competition! Not taking anything away from either, both are great at what they do! For me personally, Claptons style is more melodic and musical. Both guys have one of the most recognizable guitar sounds around! Some people just like one more then the other, also some songs lend themselves to one style more then others but believe me both these guys are11s !!!

Both Beck and Clapton are indeed smokin' players. But even Clapton himself has acknowledged in interviews that he considers Beck to be the best there is.

See you at O2 arena...13 febr

ciakykall @ Oct 1, 2009

Very well stated!

jantonice @ Oct 2, 2009

glad to see Abe on the drums. I was getting tired of all the super heavy drummers that Beck has used in the last 10 or so years. I mean I guess they were alltechnically proficient but too damn busy for my taste. Abe = ECONNOMY

lordritchie @ Oct 17, 2009

Can't really compare Beck/Clapton. Both have changed the guitar world in there way. Saw a 12 year old kid playing "Day in the Life" today and I said, nice job kid. "Yeah, I learned off a Jeff Beck CD". Now, that is saying something about the influence these guys have.

Gilyslas @ Feb 12, 2010

I love both playing, it's amazing vitality wasted on each of their presentations! By the way, will Jeff have a portrait ...like Dorian Grey .....since, he is older than Eric, but seems to be in the middle 40's!
