@pioughd87 the camera guy might have a separate channel for a mic he put up to a speaker which is blended with the camera mic for ambience or there could be a recording device somewhere in his audio chain after the effects

@pioughd87 the sound is recorded by the device output device of his "mixboard" so only what comes out of the speakers on the streat is recorded
