I loved Shalamar! They were my favourite group. I miss them and their style of music SO much. They split up and went on to release excellent material of their own, but you don't get talent like theirs nowadays :(

@ASD8199 I'm not sure if you live in the U.S. but there's a series called Unsung (it's the R & B version of VH1's Behind the Music) on TV One & Shalamar was featured last year....in a nut shell, egos, management & drama led to their demise. You can probably find the episodes here on You Tube; very interesting history but sad because Howard & Jeffrey want to reunite with Jody & tour but she refuses because of the past.

I luv them! Reminds me of good times in the summer going to parties with an older cousin. Boy was it fun! Howard Hewitt great voice, Jody was cool and Jeffrey Daniels the Godfather of the Moon Walk! Yeah he did it before Michael Jackson although Michael Jackson took it to another level in Smooth Criminal but we were eyeing Jeffrey long before then.

@techgal83 As a fan of Ms Watley I empatically believe your comment is wrong she doesn't wish to reunite because she is happy doing her own thing, says it all the time. she's been successful at her own music career still making hot tracks and not doing nostalgia tours and as a Watley fan I'm happy about. I don't want to see her as a backing vocalist andit's people like you that keep the negativity going, major fail

This group broke up for obvious reasons! Howard (Pretty boy/lead/cocky) Jeffery(they can't dance with out me!!!!!/I'm oh so stylish and trendy) and Jody(I'm the ONLY female stuck in between two men nuff said) Jody never got her respect because they didn't take her seriously probably because she was a chick. You know how it goes sometimes " Just shut up an look pretty Jody thank you" OMG 2:32 - 2:40 looked like a gay moment between Howard and Jeff lol
